Ida Ileana Agius of Millbrae went to be with God December 29, 2025, at the age of 91. Born to Jose Maria Estrada and Rafaela Flores on May 17, 1934, in Managua, Nicaragua, the middle of six children. Predeceased by her loving husband Frank X. Agius, married for 34 years. Devoted mother to Johanna Agius and the late Abel Abdalah. Ida came to San Francisco in 1962 at the age of 28. She worked as a physical therapist assistant at the Jewish Home for the Aged in San Francisco for 33 years, which she felt was her second home. She cared for the residents as though they were her family. She enjoyed traveling with Frank to his native Malta and Europe. She loved all her siblings very much and made it a point to get together with them whenever she could. Ida was a devoted parishioner of St. Dunstan’s Catholic Church in Millbrae, a woman of incredible faith in God and love for the Blessed Mother. Ida brought love, joy, and warmth to anyone she met and if she could help you in any way in her power, she would find the way to do it. Affectionate “Tia Ida” to countless nieces and nephews, she will live in her family and friends’ hearts forever.
