A Belmont woman was arrested for DUI early Thursday morning after she collided with a parked car and a house on the 2000 block of Monroe Avenue, according to police
At approximately 6:25 a.m., Belmont police and fire units responded to a report of a vehicle which had driven into the front of a home. First responders discovered a 2014 Nissan Versa had backed into the front porch area of the home, according to police.
The driver, Denise Adams, 42, of Belmont, was contacted at the scene and was subsequently arrested without incident for driving under the influence. She was subsequently transported to an area hospital as a precaution. Officers determined Adams had turned into a residential driveway, possibly in an effort to make a three-point turn. As she did so, Adams struck a 2001 Acura parked in the driveway. After striking the Acura, Adams backed up, going across the street and down the driveway of another home where she collided with the front of the residence and came to rest, according to police.
