Thanks to all our friends and neighbors who joined us in our march and rally for Labor Day, in downtown San Mateo and Central Park. We had great music and stirring speeches by union members, veterans, and activists and two inspiring guest speakers, Julie Lind of the San Mateo County Labor Council and Lisa Diaz Nash, councilmember of the San Mateo City Council. Adam Loraine, deputy mayor of the San Mateo City Council also stepped up to the microphone as well as other community members who wanted to share.
We want to thank our excellent police brothers and sisters in keeping everyone safe as we marched up and down several blocks to our final destination in the park. We need these sorts of energizing actions not only to show our rogue president that we are alive and kicking, and not intimidated by his illegal actions, but also to show our community members the same thing. Indivisible San Mateo meets each Saturday at 31st and El Camino and each Sunday at Tanforan Mall in San Bruno and has special events as well as future actions still in the planning. Thanks to all once again.

So, Ms. Beavins, was it a march to rally for Labor Day or are you trying to co-opt the march as a TDS-themed march? What’s next, saying the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade is a No Kings march? Something many would like to know from the left, and which all have been scared to answer, is why Democrats have become the party of supporting criminals and terrorists over that of American citizens, and supporting biological men competing against biological women. Until you can answer, the only thing your protests do is to harden opposition to your loitering in the streets.
A reminder that you’ll have at least three more years, perhaps longer. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Trump 2028. BTW, I did an unofficial survey and I asked a bunch of people if they would join a No Kings protest or watch the grass grow. Almost everyone chose the latter. One asked why I wanted to protest against Burger King. Another said they’d rather watch their hair grow (via a new hair growing device from Costco). Toodles.
