South City is the latest jurisdiction to start supplementing food benefits for its residents in light of a government shutdown that could affect recipients as soon as this weekend.

Due to an ongoing federal government shutdown, distribution of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits will halt starting Nov. 1 if a budget deal is not reached by then.

What South City and the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors conveniently leave out is that Democrats are the sole cause of the loss of SNAP. If you’re affected by a loss of SNAP, call your representatives and tell them to open the government. Meanwhile, if you know any Democrats, hit them up for food and see if they’re willing to support your families in need. Democrats are purposefully taking away your food so the least they can do is help you while they hold America hostage. Good luck. But never forget Democrats are the party of putting criminals and terrorists over the American people and allowing biological men to compete against biological women (and invade their spaces). Vote Republican.
