As of Nov. 18, elections results in San Mateo County are essentially unchanged from previous updates and a preliminary election night tally, with the margins in the Redwood City District 2 race shrinking by one since last Friday’s update.
Around 5,200 remain and 330,946 ballots have been processed. Final results will be posted Dec. 5.
On election night, Redwood City District 2 challenger Isabella Chu was ahead of incumbent Lissette Espinoza Garnica by 68 votes. On Nov. 15, Chu led Espinoza Garnica by 9 votes, and now leads by only 8.
The other three Redwood City races have likely winners, with two candidates running uncontested and a third race in District 7 ending with a concession from Diana Reddy.
In Foster City, two of three City Council seats will go to Suzy Niederhofer and Patrick Sullivan. Results show Phoebe Venkat with a 247-vote lead over Shankar Kenkre for the third open seat.
