The San Bruno Police Department reports today that it has arrested a man for the second time after he was caught making prank phone calls to the 911 dispatch center.
Police said 25-year-old Oren Schroeder, from San Bruno, was booked into the Redwood City Jail for misuse of the 911 emergency line and for being drunk in public.
Police responded to the 400 and 500 blocks of San Mateo Avenue to investigate prank calls that were made to the 911 emergency service a 1:57 a.m. Responding officers witnessed a subject at 675 San Mateo Ave. calling the 911 emergency line. The subject called the 911 emergency line, stayed silent and the left the phone receiver out of the cradle. Police nabbed the man and found him to be the same person who was arrested last month after police witnessed him making harassing 911 calls.
