Clarabelle is a 2-year-old domestic short-haired cat who loves to greet new friends with soft meows and lots of head butts. Clarabelle’s Disney namesake, Clarabelle the cow, once got the kitty cat blues because she wanted a cat so deeply. She sang, “Oh what a pity, I wish I had a kitty, a feline friend covered in fuzzy fur. I’d kiss him and I’d hold him, I promise not to scold him. I know he’d be so happy we’d both purr.” There is no need for you to get the blues when you can adopt Clarabelle the cat. Isn’t she beautiful? She is a sweet and gentle girl looking for a patient clan who will let her explore at her own pace, which might be a slow one. Small kids can be too overwhelming for her, so older kids able to give her space, along with an experienced cat person who is quick to understand her, would be just her thing. Stop by Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA to meet Clarabelle ID #A970338 or call (650) 340-7022 with questions. Visit www.phs-spca.org for more information.
