Beautification Commissioner Qiva Dinuri; Beautification Commissioner Mary Hunt; Mike Horwitz, Coldwell Banker; Beautification Commissioner Richard Kirchner; and renowned artist Dale Perkins at a recent Burlingame City Council meeting to honor Coldwell Banker as the winner of the 10th annual Burlingame Business Landscape Award for its property at 1427 Chapin Ave. The site is the former historic Farrell residence (circa 1905) and Burlingame Garden Center. The winning business owner will receive an award plaque and an original watercolor created by Perkins of the landscaping of the business. Anyone wishing to nominate a local business for this award for the coming year is encouraged to contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (650) 558-7330. The deadline for applications is June 1, 2018.
