Helena Landels, Jackson Bae, Trent Haithcox, Sam Stabinsky and Emily Mannion, of the San Carlos Elementary School District, were honored as part of California’s All-State Junior High School Band, while Gavin Danek was selected as part of the All-State Junior High Concert Band. The students were chosen from a pool of 2,700 other middle school competitors, and recently performed at the All State Music Education Conference.
Brandon Chu, of Hillsborough, Katelyn Eustace, Michelle Meyer, Madeleine Stewart and Ella Missan of Menlo Park, Lillian Forman and Anita Lam, of Foster City, Kenia French and Katherine Harrison, of San Mateo, Kishandra Anne Patron, of San Bruno, Brooke Peterson and Elena Silverstein of Burlingame, Jillian Rolnick, Jonathan Vithoontien and Supriya Sanjay, of Hillsborough, Elijah van der Rijn, of San Carlos and Andrea Vorametsanti, of Millbrae were named to the dean’s list at Tufts University.
Evan Quirk and Angelo Novello, of Half Moon Bay, were named to the honor roll at the University of Dallas.
Angelina Mah, of South San Francisco, Linna Visbal, of Burlingame, and Lucas Becher, of San Carlos, were named to the dean’s list at Hofstra University. Caitlin Yuen was named to the provost’s list, which recognizes those with a 4.0 GPA.
Priyanka Takle, of Foster City, was named to the dean’s list at Bates College.
Amy Bainton, Griffin Intrieri and Liam Gallagher, of Burlingame, Ryan Chang, Kristine Gese, Alexander Guthmann, Maggie O’Keeffe, Christian Yee-Yanagishita and Annika Delfs, of Redwood City, Emma Lara and Alexa Zaino of Belmont as well as Marisa Navarro, of South San Francisco, were named to the second honors list at University of San Diego, recognizing those with a GPA between 3.4 and 3.64.
Mathew Jackson, of Hillsborough, was named to the dean’s list at Nebraska University.
Alexander Gray-Spight, of Redwood City, as well as Drake and Sophia Kapoor, of San Mateo, were named to the dean’s list at the University of Iowa.
Emma O’Hara, of Redwood City, was named to the dean’s list at Colby College.
Redmond Peiro, of Hillsborough, and Gabrielle Filloux, of Redwood City, were named to the dean’s list at the University of Hartford.
Juliette Dito and Prisilla Sanchez, of Burlingame, were named to the dean’s list at Miami University in Ohio. Dito also graduated with a business degree, majoring in marketing.
Matthew Sim, of Belmont, was named to the dean’s list at Emmanuel College.
Kacey Christine Roche, of Half Moon Bay, and John Pinion, of San Mateo, were named to the dean’s list at Clemson University.
Jade Barkett, of San Mateo, and Alexandria Johnson, of Redwood City, graduated from the University of Alabama. Mary Hoy, of Atherton, Allegra Ferme, of Belmont, Savanah Walker, of Burlingame, Maxwell Ware, of Foster City, Brooke Buckley, of San Carlos, and Olivia Hooper, of San Mateo, were named to the dean’s and president’s list at the school.
Scott Doll, of San Mateo, and Isaiah Tangitau, of South San Francisco, were named to the dean’s list at the Army and Navy Academy.
Hannah MacLeod, of Menlo Park, Deren Owji, of Brisbane, and Kara Sun, of Belmont, enrolled at Carleton College.
