JeNora Lewis was named the new principal of Middle College and Peninsula High School in the San Mateo Union High School District, and will begin in her position July 1. Lewis will be the instructional leader of both the Middle College program which is an alternative high school program in which students take courses at the College of San Mateo for dual credit, as well as the district’s continuation high school in Burlingame. Both programs cater to the district’s students with particularly unique needs.

“For over 25 years I have dedicated my time, passion, and voice to cases and commitments that empower and uplift,” Lewis said in a press release. “I am driven by education’s ability to heal.”
