The Padres had posted a 4-0-2 record since the last time the ran up against St. Francis (6-2-1 WCAL, 11-2-2), but Serra (4-2-3, 8-3-4) had the streak snapped with a loss to the West Catholic Athletic League frontrunners in Mountain View. Seniors Michael Scavotto and Robert Cevasco each scored for the Lancers, and senior goalkeeper Tomas Santa Gadea recorded his sixth shutout of the season.

Carlmont 1, Palo Alto 1
The Lady Scots (8-3-4) scored a second-half equalizer to earn the draw at Palo Alto (7-4-2) in a battle of Central Coast Section playoff contenders.

Crystal 2, Eastside Prep 0
Senior Lucas Shotts scored his 14th goal of the season as the Gryphons (7-0-1 WBAL, 11-0-2 overall) improved on their best start in program history with the home win over Eastside Prep (1-6, 3-9). Junior defenseman Jimmy Naylor added a goal, and junior striker Dante Martin recorded an assist. Senior goalkeeper Max Slavet earned his second straight shutout, and his third in Crystal’s last four matches.
Hillsdale 1, Sequoia 0
Senior Bernardo Chaparro scored the game’s lone goal on an assist from junior Christian Salamanca to keeping the Fighting Knights (6-0-3 PAL Bay, 9-1-5 overall) in control atop the PAL Bay Division standings. Senior goalkeeper Emiliano Lopez notched his fourth straight shutout, and his seventh of the season.
With the win, Hillsdale (21 points) maintains first place in the PAL Bay with five games to play. Burlingame (20 points) sits in second place, with Woodside (18 points) in third, and M-A (14 points) still in the mix in fourth.
Burlingame 2, Carlmont 1
The second-place Panthers (6-2-2 PAL Bay, 9-2-2 overall) rode a second-half goal from Luis Zamudio to the win to remain within striking distance in the PAL Bay Division race. Zamudio was assisted by Derek Diercks, after Dylan Rossen got Burlingame on the board with an unassisted goal. Junior Ian Sijbrant scored Carlmont’s lone goal on an assist from junior Connor Enberg.

Woodside 3, Aragon 0
The third-place Wildcats (5-1-3 PAL Bay, 8-2-3 overall) kept pace in the PAL Bay Division with a home win over Aragon (3-6-1, 4-9-2). Senior striker Daniel Artandi scored two goals, logging a first-half penalty kick, and a second-half strike on an assist from senior midfielder Luka Marks. Senior midfielder Luke Hunter got M-A on the board in the first half with an assist from junior defenseman Jorge Hernandez.
Menlo-Atherton 3, South City 2
Senior forward Niko Lanza scored two goals, and junior defenseman Finn Doherty recorded two assists as the Bears (3-0-5 PAL Bay, 5-4-5 overall) earned the win at South City (0-9-1, 0-12-1). Senior defenseman Nolan Kanevsky got M-A on the board in the first half, and Lanza scored twice in the second, his second goal on an assist from Saleen Hamzawi. Leomar Gomes and Jesus San Juan each scored for the Warriors.
Half Moon Bay 8, Oceana 0
Kaleb Eisen notched a hat trick and Max Magana added two goals as the Cougars (10-2-1 PAL Ocean, 10-4-2 overall) won at home over Oceana (1-10-2, 1-10-2). Donovan Almenarez added one goal and one assist, and Carlos Ortega also scored a goal.
Westmoor 5, Terra Nova 2
Sergio Espinal recorded a hat trick, while Alen Yanez and Cesar Rivera also scored goals for the Rams (4-7-1 PAL Ocean, 4-7-1 overall) in a home win over Terra Nova (3-7-2, 3-7-2). Jayden Mijos totaled two assists for Westmoor.
Menlo School 3, Priory 0
Senior Declan Sitter scored one goal and one assist as the Knights (6-1-1 WBAL, 8-3-3 overall) earned the home win over Priory (4-5, 7-7). Seniors Chuck Wynn and Liam Pappalardo also got in the scoring column for Menlo, while senior Reed Sunwoo recorded two assists.
Summit Prep 5, Nueva School 4
Nueva School (4-2 PSAL, 5-8 overall) fell in a home match to Summit Prep (3-4-1 PSAL) at Skyline College. The loss is a costly one for the second-place Mavericks (12 points) as it drops them nine points back of first place and clinches no less than a co-Private School Athletic League North Division championship for league frontrunner Latino Prep-San Jose (21 points) with three games to play.

Capuchino (2-5-2 PAL Ocean, 2-6-2 overall) battled to a 0-0 draw at San mateo (6-4-3, 7-7-3).
Jefferson (1-6-4 PAL Ocean, 1-10-5 overall) earned a 0-0 draw at Mills (6-5-1, 6-6-1).
