The Cinderella run came to an end for No. 7 Sequoia (22-15), as No. 3 Milpitas rallied back from a Game 1 loss to win it 22-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-21. Milpitas (21-9) advances to meet No. 1 Menlo-Atherton in Saturday’s Division I finals at Gunn-Palo Alto at 1 p.m.
Division II
Aragon 3, Leland 2
The No. 1-seed Lady Dons (25-7) rallied back from two sets down to punch their ticket to the CCS championship round, taking down No. 4 Leland-San Jose (22-8) at home 22-25, 21-25, 25-21, 25-17, 15-9. Aragon now advances to the finals to play Monta-Vista-Cupertino Saturday at Palo Alto High School Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Division III
Monta Vista 3, Burlingame 1
A late service run by Elaina Newman to force extra-points in Game 4 wasn’t enough for No. 3 Burlingame (19-14), as the Panthers fell 25-15, 25-22, 18-25, 27-25 at No. 2 Monta Vista-Cupertino (21-13). Monta Vista will take on Aragon for the title Saturday at Palo Alto.

Riordan 3, Capuchino 0
No. 2 Riordan (13-13) advanced to the Division III finals by knocking off visiting No. 3 Capuchino (24-5) in straight sets 25-14, 25-16, 25-13. The Crusaders will face No. 5 Santa Cruz in Saturday’s finals at Palo Alto High. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
Division IV
Harbor 3, Menlo 2
The No. 6 Lady Knights (13-18) forced a fifth set with extra-points in Game 4, put fell short 25-22, 19-25, 25-22, 24-26, 15-12 at No. 2 Harbor-Santa Cruz (24-10). Harbor advances to Saturday’s finals at Gunn-Palo Alto for a 6 p.m. start.
Division V
Summit Shasta 3, Santa Catalina 0
The No. 1-seed Black Bears (25-8) took care of business with a 25-17, 25-6, 25-16 win at home over No. 4 Santa Catalina (10-15). With the win, Summit Shasta earns the right to play for the Division V crown against No. 2 Palma, Saturday, at Gunn High School in Palo Alto. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
Palma 3, Crystal 2
The No. 6-seed Gryphons (8-14) fell short in a five-set thriller 25-22, 10-25, 17-25, 25-18, 15-12 at No. 2 Palma (13-12).
