First off, Happy New Years everyone. I think the goal as a society for 2025 needs to be a return to the middle. Extreme sections of both political parties are often the loudest, but do not represent the majority of their respective parties. It’s important to remember, no matter the party affiliated, most people are in the middle. They can see both the positive and negative from each party, and have feelings that cross the aisles depending on the topic.
Being Republican or Democrat doesn’t mean you’re automatically all in on that party’s complete ideology. It’s OK to see things through different lenses based on the situation. We’re a lot more alike than we are different. Let’s stop letting the powers that be divide us and demand action and accountability for both sides. That is the only way to make America work for all its citizens.

Thanks for your letter and your sentiments, Mr. Guttenbeil, but do you really think the mainstream media will take your words to heart? I don’t, and I expect their credibility and influence to continue diminishing as they continue to divide America with their Trump Derangement Syndrome shenanigans. BTW, I’d say Trump was re-elected to make America work for all its citizens, even the Dem party of NO.
