Tina Hartanto

Tina Hartanto was born on Feb. 7, 1925, in Indonesia as the youngest of nine children. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 27, 2018. Tina was a devoted wife to Hindrawan, and a loving mother to Jauw (MaryLou), Martin (Carol) and Sri (Simon). She was adored by her nine grandchildren: Chris, Angela (Michael), Lisa (Scott), Cheryl, Shaun, Anastasia (Anthony), Catherine, Jason and Andrea. She was fortunate to be loved by her five great-grandchildren: Kayla, Karia, Isaiah, Maverick and Aviana.

In Indonesia, Tina was an entrepreneur, founding and managing her own plastics manufacturing company. She worked hard to build a business while raising three ambitious children. She helped them become the first in the family to graduate college, and enabled her two sons to move to the United States in the early 1970s. She eventually joined them along with her husband, daughter and son-in-law. She loved traveling, gardening and being with her loved ones.
