Myrtis Irving

Myrtis Irving, aged 97, died peacefully on Dec. 6, 2017, at her home in Powell, Ohio, she moved to Ohio from California with her son and his family to live out the remained of her life. Myrtis is survived by her son, Warren, daughter-in-law Jessica; her grandchildren Bianca and Warren III Irving, her sister-in-law Gloria McCray, cousins, nieces, nephews and many longtime friends who she loved as family.

There will be a celebration of her life at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo, California, 10:30 a.m. Feb 2, please meet at the main building to caravan, in your vehicles, to the chapel. Fellowship with the Irving family at Jones Methodist Church, 1975 Post St., San Francisco, from 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to many of Myrtis’ favorite charities/organizations in her honor, Southern Poverty Law Center, American Civil Liberties, NNACP and United Negro College Fund or contribute to the research of Alzheimer Foundation of America.
