Dear Editor,
What a great idea it is to hire a PR firm to gloss over any bad publicity the cinema project may have gotten. Let's see, what does this PR firm do exactly?
Dear Editor,

The article says that they are going to communicate with the vendors immediately affected by the construction and the traffic congestion, inconvenience, etc.
They are going to work with us to make us happier with the new situation.
I know what PR firms traditionally do. They are hired by a client to make that client look good, put a better spin on anything unpopular the clients may be involved in. They are not hired to have an opinion.
The PR firm is going to do whatever they can to make this project look like the best thing for San Mateo eventhough it is oversized for the location.
The construciton/cinema is going to be erected on two side of our building and I would be surprised to hear from the PR firm at all.
Think brainwash.
