The San Bruno Amateur Radio Club announced a free class for anyone interested in becoming a licensed Amateur Radio Operator.
The class begins 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, and will be held in the San Bruno City Hall Emergency Operations Center. Sessions will continue weekly through Feb. 25.
This program is open to participants aged 10 and up. Children between 10 and 15 years old are welcome when accompanied by an enrolled parent. Admission is free but space is limited. To register go to sbamradio.org/class_signup.php.
