Burlingame native Kerry Romano Zall turned a departure from corporate America into a movement of “empowerment and connection,” founding Corporate Hippie Connection in 2019 to help people navigate challenges through conscious living and community support.
The Corporate Hippie Connection is described as a “positive empowerment movement.”
During the COVID-19 pandemic, like-minded people who were suffering “focused their time on positive empowerment,” as Romano Zall said.
The connection is described “as this conscious living community and movement,” which began before the pandemic peaked.
Romano Zall says the pivot came as people were navigating the pandemic, and the podcast coached people who were “hurting and suffering.”
Romano Zall was recently featured in the magazine Awakened, which describes itself as a spiritual and lifestyle magazine.
“I decided to really focus my time and energy on the community I live in for a more lifestyle and so I offered my services,” Romano Zall said.

Romano Zall partnered with many people she describes as highly skilled in the movement, and they started writing articles for Corporate Hippie Connection.
Part of the program included Pilates and a weekly online broadcast to give people “hope” who were stuck in their apartments during lockdowns.
“I was going live weekly, just giving a glimpse of hope to the people that were stuck in their apartments in New York or families that really couldn’t get out to get food,” she said.
She said many people felt shut out by the lockdowns, and the streams were useful.
“Fast-forward, partnering with other companies that are like-minded, sustainable and all about frequency and vibration, and giving people the proper tools to take them to their higher potential, I decided to start filming finally,” she said.
She adds that her family moved into Burlingame when she was 6 years old and her parents tried their very best to always keep her connected to “source energy and God,” and that “they were such positive people.”
