Students led a gun control protest in downtown Redwood City on Saturday morning, one of several taking place around the Bay Area and more than 450 nationwide as part of the March For Our Lives movement.

Students Kaaya Minocha, Lily Arangio, Nicholas Kwok and Christopher Kwok, all of whom have been involved in March For Our Lives since its inception after the 2018 school shooting in Parkland, Florida, organized and led the event in Redwood City.

I saw more people at the car show on Broadway, yet not a word or photo in DJ. Guess you can CYA by saying "we'll always have car shows." i think it is another example of media power being WHAT is covered rather than HOW.

Willallen — This is Daily Journal staff writer Terry Bernal, and as I work the Sunday layout desk I am responsible for publishing the content for the print and online editions for our newspaper. There is a photograph from the Downtown Redwood City Car Show that was published in our print edition today on page 2. There was a technical difficulty in transferring the photo online (the file size of the photo file was larger than allowed for upload by our website) and I chose to bookmark remedying the problem until today to ask for help from someone on our staff who knows about these things, as it is not my area of expertise. As has always been the plan, the photo of the car show will appear online, only it has to wait until later today. Thank you for your readership. —Terry
