Farringdon Lane team discusses response to incident.jpeg

More than 300 people participated in the Burlingame Neighborhood Network’s Burlingame Disaster Response Drill Saturday, Oct. 5, which was supported by the Central County Fire Department, the Burlingame Police Department and local HAM radio operators. Twenty-two groups of residents ran the drill in neighborhoods throughout the city. It was the 11th year the drill was held. Participants practiced organizing in teams to help one another after a simulated earthquake and learned how to report major incidents to a simulated Emergency Operations Center. Local police officers and firefighters stopped by and answered questions. Here, Burlingame police Officer Mark Wallace visits Sanchez Avenue drill. And the Farringdon Lane team discusses the response to an incident.
