Kay Payne
The photographs of Ansel Adams convey his deep feeling for the wilderness and the environment. Epic vistas and the elegant details of nature evoke an emotional response that match or even outweigh the reality of what is in the picture. Join popular San Francisco Fine Arts Museums Docent Kay Payne for an illustrated journey through the world of this artist whose photographs stylize the grandeur and intimacy of the mountains.
Payne speaks on Friday, March 12 at 7 p.m. at the Atherton Library, 2 Dinkelspiel Lane, Atherton.
