Menlo School 67, Harker 44
The Knights scored 20 points in the first quarter and 21 in the third to propel them to the WBAL win over the Eagles.
Ethan Zhao led Menlo (3-2 WBAL, 13-6 overall) , finishing with a game-high 18 points and four rebounds. Tate Cohen had 11 points, three rebounds and three steals, while Aidan Stull chipped in 10 points, eight assists and six steals.
Harker falls to 2-3 in league play and 10-9 overall.
Sacred Heart Prep 84, Pinewood 36
The Gators had four players score in double figures as they buried the Panthers.
Matt Norris and Alberto De Bernardis each scored 20 points to lead SHP (4-1 WBAL, 10-6 overall). Alex Straser added 14 points and Jackson Selcher added 11 for the Gators.
Pinewood falls to 0-5 in WBAL play and 9-8 overall.
Summit Shasta 92, Nueva School 21
The Black Bears held the Mavericks scoreless in the first quarter as they flirted with the 100-point mark.
Summit Shasta (5-0 PSAL, 14-3 overall) outscored Nueva (1-4, 2-16) 30-0 in the opening quarter to take all the drama out of the game, adding 27 in the second quarter to lead 57-10 at haltime.
Carlmont 70, Burlingame 53
The Scots built a big first-half lead and never looked back in beating the Panthers.
Carlmont (6-1 PAL Bay, 10-8 overall) scored 22 points in the first quarter and 26 in the second to lead 48-27 at halftime.
Burlingame falls to 3-4 in Bay play and 8-11 overall.
Jefferson 57, Hillsdale 54
The Grizzlies outscored the Knights 19-15 in the fourth quarter to pull out the Bay Division win.
Jefferson (2-5 PAL Bay, 10-8 overall) trailed 16-12 after the first period, but rallied to take a 27-25 lead at halftime. But Hillsdale (0-7, 5-14) outscored the Grizzlies 14-11 in the third to take a 39-38 lead into the fourth period.
Serra 72, Sacred Heart Cathedral 56
The Padres used a big second half to pull away for the win over the Irish.
Serra (2-5 WCAL, 11-6 overall) led 30-26 at halftime before outscoring SHC (2-5, 9-8) 42-30 in the second half.

Kehillah-Palo Alto (9-0 PSAL, 11-2 overall) topped Design Tech (7-1, 9-7), 55-47.
Mid-Peninsula (4-4 PSAL, 6-7 overall) cruised past Summit Prep-Redwood City 91-7, 1-7), 72-45.
Pacific Bay Christian (7-1 PSAL, 9-8 overall) rolled past KIPP Esperanza-Palo Alto (1-7, 1-11), 45-26.
King’s Academy (5-0 WBAL, 16-3 overall) continues to lead the WBAL standings after beating Crystal (1-4, 7-10), 74-35.
Priory (4-1 WBAL, 15-4 overall) whacked Eastside College Prep (1-4, 13-5), 79-43.
Girls’ basketball
Hillsdale 46, Westmoor 34
Leading 21-17 at halftime, the Knights outscored the Rams 35-22 in the second half to post the Bay Division win.
Lexi Carson, who has come on strong lately for Hillsdale (6-1 PAL Bay, 17-2 overall), scored a game-high 21 points. Westmoor (0-8, 7-10) was led by Kiana Chavez, who scored 11 points, while Grace Wang added 10.
Menlo-Atherton 44, Mills 36
The Bears completed a regular-season sweep of the Vikings to maintain a piece of the the Bay Division lead with Hillsdale.
Mills (5-2 PAL Bay, 11-8 overall) got 20 points from Sofia Kwan.
M-A improve to 6-1 in Bay play and 13-5 overall.
Half Moon Bay 64, Aragon 46
The Cougars took a 16-3 lead after the first quarter and never looked back as they cruised to the win over the Dons.
Delaney Dorwin led the way for HMB (4-3 PAL Bay, 11-5 overall), scoring a game-high 21 points. Zoey Lemoge added 17 for the Cougars.
Aragon (1-6, 6-13) got nine points from Ellie McGinty.
El Camino 53, Oceana 36

The Colts led 18-11 after the first quarter and then held the Sharks to 25 points the rest of the way to remain one game behind division-leading Burlingame and San Mateo.
El Camino (6-1 PAL Ocean, 11-7 overall) was led by Chelsea Basco, who scored 15 points. Oceana (1-6, 2-13) got a game-high 19 points from Kelani Cheung, while Alamea Lewis added 17.
Notre Dame-SJ 45, Menlo School 37
The Knights continue to struggle in WBAL Foothill Division play, dropping a decision to the Regents.
Karen Xin scored a game-high 18 points for Menlo (1-4 WBAL Foothill, 12-5 overall), while Sophia Longinidis added 10 for the Knights.
Notre Dame-SJ improved to 2-3 in WBAL play with the win and 8-6 overall.

The Bears scored a goal in each half as they extended their lead in the Bay Division standings to four points over Woodside.
Sam Ruiz scored both goals for M-A (4-0-1 PAL Bay, 7-4-2 overall), while Mae Kunihiro and Stella Hall each had an assist.
Hillsdale falls to 1-4 in division play and 7-7 overall.
Woodside 3, Sequoia 2
The Wildcats picked up their second win in Bay play, scoring once in the second half to break a 2-2 halftime score.
Acua Acosta netted all three goals for Woodside (2-0-3 PAL Bay, 6-2-4 overall), with Mariam Yusuf, Gaby Chen and Natalia Lopez earning assists.
Gigi Jarolimek and Maddy Johnson each scored for Sequoia (1-4, 4-8-2), with Teagen Tokheim and Charlotte Dugoni picking up assists.
Aragon 2, Burlingame 2
The Dons led 2-1 at halftime, but the Panthers rallied for the tie.
Emi Lo continues her strong play for Aragon (2-1-2 PAL Bay, 7-2-2 overall), picking up a goal and an assist, with Sierra Troy rounding out the scoring.
Mika Haggarty and Hannah Goldberg also had a goal and an assist to lead Burlingame (1-2-2, 4-7-4).
Terra Nova 5, Half Moon Bay 0
The Tigers routed the rival Cougars with two goals in the first half and three more in the second.
Terra Nova (3-2 PAL Ocean, 9-3-1 overall) got goals from five players, with Milana Rosales scoring once and assisting on three other goals. Haylee Machi added two assists for the Tigers.
HMB falls to 1-2-2 in Ocean play and 3-8-3 overall.
South City 8, Capuchino 0
The Warriors earned their first Ocean Division win with the rout of the winless Mustangs.
Mercy Grech led the way for South City (1-3-1 PAL Ocean, 5-7-2 overall), scoring a hat trick. Five other Warriors each scored once.
Capuchino falls to 0-5 in division play and 0-11 overall.
Oceana 9, Westmoor 2
The Sharks erupted for a lopsided win over the Rams to stay undefeated and in first place in the Lake Division.
Oceana (3-0 PAL Lake, 3-2 overall) had six players score, led by Shalien Ekah, who finished with two goals and an assist. Sara Byun added a pair of goals for the Sharks, as well.
Westmoor falls to 0-4 in Ocean play and 0-7 overall.
Menlo School 1, Notre Dame-Belmont 0
The Knights ran their unbeaten steak to nine with the shutout win over the Tigers.
Roya Rezaee scored in the opening 10 minutes, with an assist from Halle Blanchard for Menlo (4-0-1 WBAL Foothill, 10-3-1 overall). Knights’ goalkeeper Bianca Putanec earned her seventh clean sheet of the season.
In other action ...
Jefferson (2-2 PAL Lake) scored two goals in each half to shut out El Camino (1-3), 4-0.
