Sophomore running back JJ Lange became the third Woodside running back to rush for over 100 yards in a game in 2025 as the Wildcats (3-0) remained unbeaten with a 49-13 win over Castro Valley (0-3) at Bradley Field.
Lange needed just three carries to go for 105 yards, including a 75-yard scoring bolt. The senior totaled two touchdowns in the game, while senior running back Daniel Torres also enjoyed a big night. Torres totaled 181 yards and three touchdowns, taking five carries for 75 yards and two scores on the ground, while totaling three catches for 106 yards receiving and one TD.

Woodside’s second-year quarterback Charlie Dalrymple entered Thursday having never thrown for 100 yards in a single game. The junior went 7-of-7 for a career-high 204 yards and two touchdowns. Dalrymple is now 16-of-19 passing for 327 yards this season. The Wildcats have completed 17 of 20 passes on the year.
