Being the, ‘new guy on the block’ to California, I was mesmerized by this verbal mercenary, Jon Mays, who crafted a column entitled, “A San Mateo birthday gift.” Mr. Mays’ column was peppered with echoes of good people doing good things way back in the, “good ol’ days.”
We should all take a page from Mays’ playbook and find value in looking back every now and again.
