Rebecca H. Rosecrans of Menlo Park, California, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2023, following a medical procedure. She is survived by three sisters and one brother. She was preceded by her son, Greg.
Her late son Gregory (Rosey, as his classmates called him) passed from complications of a brain tumor while attending U.C. Davis. Rebecca was devastated by the loss of her only child.
Rebecca was born in 1954 and grew up in Menlo Park. She worked at her mother’s secretarial service in Palo Alto. Rebecca then moved and worked in San Diego. She volunteered at the USO and worked with Veterans. After moving back to the S.F. Bay Area, she married and gave birth to her son Gregory. Rebecca worked for PG&E then in the health care field, where she was a fierce advocate for worker’s rights. As an organizer, a union leader and veteran's advocate she helped many to maneuver through the system to obtain their rightful benefits.
She was an altruistic, loyal friend and dedicated mother. We will all miss her dearly. God Bless you, my friend!
