Liliana Mangini Photo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Liliana Francesca Mangini on Sunday, August 24, at her home in Millbrae. She was a beloved friend, neighbor, and role model to many, and her larger-than-life presence will be greatly missed. Liliana was born just outside Milan, Italy, where she spent her childhood. In 1962, she moved to San Francisco to join her husband, Emilio, and went on to work for more than 30 years in the Italian Department at Bank of America. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinando and Maria, and her husband, Emilio. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth, her son-in-law Kenneth, and three grandchildren Benjamin, Zachary, and Emily. Liliana will be remembered for her delicious Italian cooking, her generosity, elegance, and the meaningful connections she created with everyone she met. Services will be held at Our Lady of Angels Church in Burlingame, Monday, September 15, 2025; Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Blood Cancer United.
