Dolores ‘Dorothy’ Chavez
Dolores “Dorothy” Chavez, born Nov. 1, 1919, died peacefully Dec. 6, 2018, at the age of 99, surrounded by her family.
She was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After marrying Elias Chavez in 1943, her dream to move to San Francisco became a reality. The Bay Area became her permanent home where she raised her four children. She was a caring mother who took great joy in doing whatever she could to help her family. “She will be greatly missed but long remembered for her love and devotion to God and family.”
