PARADISE, California, EE.UU. (AP) — Casi siete años después de que Paradise fuera devastado por un incendio forestal, el pueblo de las laderas huele a pino otra vez. Casas nuevas se levantan en terrenos que antes estaban quemados. El ruido de los camiones de construcción retumba por los barrios. Aunque Paradise reconstruye gradualmente las escuelas destruidas por el incendio Camp Fire de 2018 en California, las autoridades han descubierto que lograr encaminar académicamente a los estudiantes —y recrear una comunidad escolar unida y próspera— es mucho más difícil que simplemente encender las luces en un nuevo campus.
