Millbrae

A rendering of the development proposed at the Millbrae train station.

Millbrae officials inched closer to putting the finishing touches on a sweeping mixed-use development proposed on BART property adjacent to the city’s train station, but more detailed work remains ahead.

The Millbrae City Council approved during a Tuesday, April 2, meeting many art features, sign designs and other specifics for the Gateway at Millbrae Station development proposed at the city’s joint BART and Caltrain stop.

Concerned

Another entertaining, albeit typically sad, Millbrae City Council meeting.

I now understand why the rest of the Council has no respect for Ann Schneider.
- During the review of the appeal by the oppressive selfish neighbors of the already compromised and Planning commission approved redevelopment plans, she said that she was opposed to the flat roof design that the property owners had compromised to offer to accommodate their neighbors.
- She then admitted that she was about to embark on a Malta sister city boondoggle and would be unavailable for city business for several weeks.

Just another self centered bureaucrat.
