Menlo-Atherton went into the Peninsula Athletic League Track and Field Championships with a score to settle.

During the regular season, the Bears came up short of a PAL Bay Division dual-meet title after stumbling out of the gates with an early-season loss to eventual champion Hillsdale. M-A peaked at the right time, though, and did a little bit of everything Saturday at Sequoia High School to reach the PAL mountaintop.
