I am writing to express my wholehearted support for Brian Donnellan as a candidate for judge in San Mateo County. Having had the privilege of working alongside him at the District Attorney’s Office for many years, I can say with full confidence that he is exactly the kind of person our community needs on the bench.
Brian is a man of deep integrity who has demonstrated his commitment to service at every level, from his honorable service to our country in the U.S. Army Reserve, to his continued dedication to the residents of San Mateo County as a prosecutor. He is not just a professional, he is a neighbor, a community member and someone who genuinely cares about the people he serves.
Throughout our years working together, what stood out most about Brian was his character. He approached every matter with humility and compassion, never losing sight of the human element in the work we did. In even the most challenging situations, he maintained a calm and measured demeanor — a quality that is invaluable in a courtroom and essential in a judge.
I have no doubt that Brian Donnellan will bring that same fairness, thoughtfulness and steadiness to the role of Judge. He will serve the people of San Mateo County with the same dedication and care that has defined his entire career.
I proudly cast my vote for Brian Donnellan and encourage others to do the same.
