Rain and gusty winds will continue across the Bay Area and Central Coast as multiple storm systems move through the region this week, according to the National Weather Service.
In an advisory Wednesday, forecasters said rain will persist this week as additional systems arrive. A Wind Advisory remains in effect for the Central Coast, and strong winds are expected through midweek.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through Wednesday for the Central Coast mountains and parts of the Santa Clara Hills, where accumulating snow is expected. Colder air will settle into the region mid to late week, bringing continued mountain snow and lower temperatures.
Active weather is expected to continue into next week, with additional chances for rain, according to the weather service.
