Anna Scopaz, born March 30, 1920, died March 3, 2018, in Burlingame.

She was married to Anthony who preceded her in death in 1992. Born in Albona (Italy), now Labin (Croatia). Anna came to the United States of America in 1961, living in San Francisco, Saratoga and, for the last 30 years, in San Carlos. Anna has close relatives in Croatia, New York, Auburn and Burlingame, California. Her generous loving spirit will be missed. The Knapic and Sumberac family and other close relatives would be honored for you to attend her services to celebrate her life. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, at St. Charles Catholic Church, 880 Tamarack Ave., San Carlos, California. Interment will be at the Italian Cemetery in Colma. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Funeral services provided by Sneider & Sullivan & O’Connell’s Funeral Home in San Mateo.
