An elderly couple found dead in a possible murder-suicide Saturday night at their Half Moon Bay home have been identified, the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office said Monday.
The bodies of Regina Sigal, 86, and Abraham Sigal, 89, were found at a home on Terrace Avenue after authorities were called about a possible shooting there shortly before 9 p.m.
San Mateo County sheriff’s investigators believe the call came from the husband, Detective Rosemerry Blankswade said.
Detectives are investigating the case, Blankswade said, and will work to determine whether one or both of the victims had health issues that may have prompted the shootings.
