In addition to being a remarkably fit woman, Georgi is a local treasure who has devoted much of her life to public service, including serving as Mayor of Redwood City.

The many ambassadors like Micki Carter who spread goodwill around the world on behalf of the U.S. are now silenced, and our international reputation will suffer because of it.

I saw Rich across the room at an event the other night and thought the same thing. Thank heavens this modest, selfless person stepped up at a critical time for San Mateo. Through the years, Rich has been a calm and stabilizing force whose only motive has been to give back to his community…
