Sigalle Michael, Burlingame's sustainability manager, will give an update on Burlingame's Climate Action Plan, and Vanessa Shin of Peninsula Clean Energy (PCE) will describe incentives for transitioning to clean energy at a program on Tuesday, October 21. Hosted by the  Citizens Environmental Council, it will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Burlingame Community Center at 850 Burlingame Ave. Admission is free, but registration is requested at https://bit.ly/BurlingameClimate.

Sigalle will outline steps Burlingame has taken to curb carbon emissions and discuss rebates on solar panels, leaf blowers, water-efficient landscaping and rain barrels. Vanessa will explain how residents can benefit from PCE’s rebates low-cost financing and personalized support by adopting clean energy. PCE's incentives are available for electric appliances, electric heating and cooling systems, electric vehicles, e-bikes and more.
