While a horrible incident I am not sure you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt the driver knew the victim and intended to murder. I am sure the DA spoke to the family and asked them what they were wanting.

While price increases are not great. I remember pre-2008 recession a 2 zone monthly pass was around $108. in 2025 that same two zone pass is $150. given everything has essentially doubled in price a 2-zone monthly pass should be more like $220 per month..

I have noticed (and is why I watch less) that the reporters and anchors try to curate a particular answer and set a time line to imply success or failure. No one wins when we create self imposed criteria and deadlines to define success regardless of who is in elected office.

Having children ride on dangerous streets in order to win an intellectual battle is child abuse. By vulnerable I mean poor many children have bike that cost more than the poorest make in a month.
