CityTrees is a 100% volunteer-run organization in Redwood City, CA that plants and maintains street trees in collaboration with the Redwood City Department of Public Works to care for our local urban canopy.Â
What will volunteers do?
During this evening summer-only event, volunteers will prune and care for street trees in Redwood City, CA. After our work, we will head to a local restaurant for food and cheer.Â
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Please bring a water bottle, dress in layers (rain and sun protection, as necessary) and wear closed toe shoes that can get dirty. We hope you are well on the day of the event, but if you are sick we invite you to join us next time!

Training
Unless you are an experienced arborist, we ask for you to have taken our annual Tree Maintenance and Pruning workshop before joining us for this event.Â
