Karen Flores
Karen studied floral design under Anne Patrick at Filoli, earning her certificate in 1999. She taught flower arranging at Filoli for over 15 years and has shared her expertise with garden clubs, rose societies, and community workshops throughout the region.
An award-winning designer and floral design judge for both the American Rose Society and the Garden Club of America, Karen brings depth, artistry, and decades of teaching experience to this workshop.
Tomoko Lee
Tomoko is a certified Sogetsu Ikebana teacher whose work has been exhibited at Bouquets to Art, Sogetsu Artscapes, Filoli Flower Show, and Peninsula Rose Society shows. Her design philosophy emphasizes seasonality and sustainability, with many materials organically grown or foraged from her own garden.
Tomoko's thoughtful approach adds a graceful and artistic perspective to traditional rose arranging.
Pam Schenk
Pam earned her Home Floral Design certificate from Filoli in 2008. She joined the Floral Design Committee after earning her certificate, where she assisted in floral classes and making arrangements. Pam participated in the annual Filoli Flower Shows for many years, with her miniature rose arrangements.
Pam enrolled in Ikebana flower arranging classes at Filoli and also took Sogetsu Ikebana classes, through adult education, from a well-known local instructor.
