The 30th Annual Great Glass Pumpkin Patch returns to the Palo Alto Art Center on Saturday and Sunday, September 27–28, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The popular Bay Area event - California’s largest glass pumpkin patch - is free and open to the public and features more than 10,000 hand-blown and sculpted glass pumpkins, gourds, and autumnal treasures.

For over 30 years, the Bay Area Glass Institute (BAGI) and the Palo Alto Art Center Foundation have partnered to produce this vibrant celebration of art and fall festivity. Each glass pumpkin is a one-of-a-kind piece created by more than 22 local and regional artists, who spend months designing, blowing, and shaping pumpkins of all sizes, shapes, and hues - from whimsical to elegant, tiny to gigantic.

Live glass-blowing demonstrations will take place throughout the weekend and give attendees a close-up look at the mesmerizing art of glassmaking. Visitors can also meet the artists, learn about their creative process, and purchase their favorite pumpkins to take home.

"Bring your appetite to the Patch! We’re excited to welcome Oaxaca Kitchen Mobile to this year’s Great Glass Pumpkin Patch. Known for their authentic Oaxacan flavors, they’ll be serving up fresh, vibrant dishes packed with tradition and taste.

The iconic Mr. Softee truck will once again be rolling into this year’s Great Glass Pumpkin Patch! Treat yourself to a swirl of nostalgia and enjoy a cool break while you browse the glass creations.
