Police have arrested a suspect following attacks that killed three people and injured three others in two Bay Area cities. The attacks began Thursday afternoon in a San Jose shopping center parking lot where a victim was stabbed in carjacking, causing life-threatening injuries. A short time later, at another shopping center, the stolen vehicle appeared to intentionally ram two pedestrians. They died. Another stabbing happened later in neighboring Milpitas, killing the victim. A man found in the neighborhood was arrested. A Milpitas police spokesperson says investigators believe the crimes in both cities may be linked.
