Lace up for SMHS Strides for Service’s 2026 Two-Hour Team Relay!
This relay race is a 120-minute relay where teams of 4 compete to cover the most distance on the track.
For two hours, the goal is for your team to run, jog, or walk as far as possible.
Only one team member is allowed on the track at a time, and one team member is required to be on the track at all times during the race, but you can tag in a teammate whenever you want.
Our Cause
SMHS Strides for Service is a student-led club at San Mateo High School dedicated to promoting the benefits of movement, creating a space for sharing stories about physical activity, and ensuring everyone has access to proper footwear. Check out our Instagram page!
We believe that inadequate footwear is a major impediment to physical activity, and to address this, we are launching a fundraising campaign that benefits SHOES THAT FIT and aims to provide athletic shoes to kids in need in the San Mateo-Foster City School District. This relay is a part of our efforts.
