Do you envision a healthy future for your children? Do you love animals and want to create a safe planet for them?
Join us for this family-friendly event, where kids and parents/caretakers will learn alongside each other how we can create safer homes for our families, cleaner air for our communities, and a brighter future for our planet.
Transforming our everyday lives - how we eat, how we get around, and how we heat water, heat and cool our homes, cook our food, and dry our clothes - find out how impactful all of this is on our health and planet, and learn from experts how change is at our fingertips right now. This event will engage kids and parents/caretakers with age-appropriate activity stations that facilitate discovery and invite creativity. This event is appropriate for elementary & middle school aged students and their parents.
Attendees will also tour the beautiful coastside farm at the HEAL Project, an educational farm dedicated to teaching kids where their food comes from and why it matters. The farm will be bursting with end-of-summer goodness - attendees will get to sample nature’s bounty straight from the earth!
