The Nova Vista Symphony's 60th Anniversary Season begins with Richard Lin, internationally acclaimed violinist and gold medalist of the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, performing the Bay Area Premiere of Tyzen Hsiao’s Violin Concerto, a deeply lyrical work by the “Taiwanese Rachmaninoff”. The program will open with Mozart's Overture to the Marriage of Figaro and will conclude with Mahler's monumental Symphony No. 1.
