Meet the Small Pets at the Hillsdale Library! Join local Girl Scouts and the Cavy Hammy Haven and Rabbit Haven animal rescue to learn and help us raise awareness of guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits as pets. Most people opt for cats, dogs, and larger pets, leaving many of these precious little mammals without homes. At this event, we will be educating on guinea pig, rabbit, and hamster care and the joys of these small creatures!
The event includes learning how to take care of small animals, such as food and cage needs; raffle prizes; meeting other small pet owners; seeing adorable animals, and falling in love with a pet!
Come support Cavy Hammy and Rabbit Haven and the Girl Scouts on Saturday, December 6, from 12-4 PM at the Hillsdale Branch of the San Mateo Public Library on 205 W Hillsdale Blvd, San Mateo. No registration required, event is free.
