The Half Moon Bay Wine & Jazz Festival returns for its fifth year on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 12–5 p.m., transforming historic Main Street in Half Moon Bay into a lively celebration of California wine, world-class jazz, and local cuisine. The event has grown into one of the Coastside’s premier spring festivals, drawing wine and music enthusiasts from across the region.
Presented by the Half Moon Bay Downtown Association, the festival will feature tastings from up to 50 California wineries representing leading wine regions including Napa Valley, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Mendocino, Lodi, and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Guests can sample a wide range of varietals and styles while meeting winery representatives and discovering both boutique and well-known producers. Participating wineries include a broad cross-section of the state’s winemaking landscape, from sparkling specialists to acclaimed estate producers.
Live music is a central highlight, with the Main Stage program curated by noted jazz musician, composer, and educator Marcus Shelby. The artist lineup will showcase top-tier jazz performers, reinforcing the festival’s reputation for high-quality musical programming that complements the tasting experience.
Beyond wine and jazz, attendees can enjoy diverse food options from local food trucks and specialty vendors serving fresh seafood, barbecue, and gourmet fare available for purchase. A dedicated craft beer and cider garden will also offer selections from Bay Area breweries and cideries.
General Admission tasting tickets are $68 and include a commemorative tasting glass. VIP tickets are $175 and provide access to an exclusive lounge experience featuring premium wine tastings and gourmet small bites. Tickets are available online at https://hmbwineandjazzfest.com/.
