Crystal 1, Priory 0
The Gyphons (3-1-1 WBAL, 8-2-1 overall) got back in the win column courtesy of a go-ahead goal in the second half on their home pitch against Priory (1-3-1, 4-3-1). The sophomore connection won the day, with Kristian Bisgaard scoring on an assist from Ethan Chen. Bisgaard now had five goals on the year, including four over the last five games, giving Crystal a bona fide scoring balance to team-leader Teague Durkin, a senior with seven goals. The assist for Chen marks the first point of his varsity career.

Girls’ soccer
San Mateo 5, Lynbrook 0
Dylan Domingo scored her first career hat trick to lead the Bearcats (8-1) to a non-league win at Lynbrook-San Jose (3-6-2). The 5-3 senior added an assist. Senior Victoria Pena was in on all five of San Mateo’s scores, totaling two goals and three assists. Domingo and Pena now share the team lead with four goals apiece on the season, while Pena leads the squad with four assists.

South City (4-6-1) battled to a 3-3 tie at home against Riordan (3-4-1).

South City 2, Sequoia 1
The Warriors (1-1 PAL Bay, 3-6-1 overall) scored both their goals in the first half to earn their first PAL Bay Division win of the year at home against Sequoia (0-2, 3-6-1). Junior defenseman Jonathan Guzman got South City on the board with an assist from senior midfielder Adrian Yanez. Senior midfielder Alexis Jimenez added what proved to be the game-winner on an assist from senior defenseman Alejandro Gutierrez. Sequoia midfielder Charlie Hudson scored his first varsity goal on an assist from junior Luke Shafer.
Carlmont 2, Aragon 1
The Scots (2-0 PAL Bay, 5-4-1 overall) overcame a 1-0 deficit at the half with two scores on their home pitch against Aragon (1-1, 6-2-2) in a battle between PAL Bay Division frontrunners. Marvin Zheng got the Dons on the board on an assist pass from Pouyan Sheikh. Carlmont fired back with scores from seniors Donny Dooley and Derek Rowe. The Scots have now won four straight overall, and have a five-game winning streak in PAL Bay matches dating back to last year.

Burlingame 0, Menlo-Atherton 0
Burlingame (0-1-1 PAL Bay, 2-7-1 overall) battled to a draw at unbeaten Menlo-Atherton (1-0-1, 8-0-3). The Panthers are now 3-0-2 against M-A over the past five meetings between the two programs.
Hillsdale 2, Half Moon Bay 1
Junior goalkeeper Logan Baker earned his seventh win despite giving up his first goal of the year as the Fighting Knights (2-0 PAL Ocean, 9-1-1 overall) won at Half Moon Bay (0-1-1, 3-7-2). Senior Luke Lawton assisted on both of Hillsdale’s goals, with junior Bernardo Chaparro and senior Aiden Reyes each scoring in the second half. Junior midfielder Soren Brown scored on an assist from senior Bryan Becerra for the Cougars.
Woodside 5, San Mateo 0
Senior forward Mattheo Lacasia scored his second straight hat trick as the Wildcats (2-0 PAL Ocean, 5-6 overall) cruised to the win on their home pitch against San Mateo (0-2, 4-6). Junior defenseman Jordan Pascacio got Woodside on the board on a Luka Marks assist, the first of Marks’ three assists on the day. Marks then connected with Lacasia to make it 2-0. Daniel Artandi scored on a Benjamin Lange assist, and Lacasia made it 4-0 before halftime on an assist from Lucas Farrell-Straight. Lacasia added one more goal in the second half on a Marks assist. Lacasia also recorded a hat trick last Wednesday in a 5-1 win at Jefferson.
Mills 2, Jefferson 0
The Vikings (1-0-1 PAL Bay, 2-4-2 overall) scored two first-half goals to earn the win at Jefferson (0-1, 0-8). Kory Wong got Mills on the board with an assist from Julian Mindel. Andrew Hampton scored the followup with Shamal Kumar recording the assist.
Design Tech 4, Summit Shasta 0
Senior Soham Kakar was in on all four of the Dragons’ scores, totaling two goals and two assists as Design Tech (2-2 PSAL, 3-4 overall) rolled past Summit Shasta at the Belmont Spiorts Complex. Senior Logan Crusick added one goal and one assist for the Dragons, while senior Bryden Price also scored and senior Deven Melwani added an assist.
Menlo 2, Crystal 1
The Knights (5-0 WBAL, 7-2-2 overall) never trailed as they kept hold of first place in the West Bay Athletic League with a win at Crystal (3-1-1, 8-2-1). Junior goalkeeper Dylan O’Malley earned his seventh win of the year while allowing his first goal in five WBAL matches.

Nueva School (5-0 PSAL, 7-6 overall) maintained its stronghold on first place in the Private School Athletic League with an 8-1 win of KIPP Esperanza-Palo Alto (0-3-1, 0-6-2).
Sacred Heart Prep (4-0-1 WBAL, 7-1-3 overall) scored once in the second half to earn a 1-0 victory at home over Eastside College Prep (0-3, 3-6).
