Menlo School’s Bill Shine added to tennis Hall of Fame
In his 27th season at Menlo School, boys’ and girls’ tennis coach Bill Shine was inducted into the USTA-NorCal Hall of Fame last Friday, June 10. Originally announced as an inductee in 2020 before the start of the pandemic, Shine was recognized in a ceremony at Green Hills Country Club in Millbrae. Shine is flanked by Menlo boys’ soccer coach Marc Kerrest, from left, assistant varsity tennis coach Mike Tamas,  junior-varsity coach Vern Leslie, and cross country and track and field coach Jorge Chen.
