Editor,

Incumbent Donald Trump is very concerned about possible fraud associated with mail-in ballots, but why? Although found to be negligible in the past, why would any fraud count against him? Why would any fraudulent attempt be made to favor the Democratic challenger, instead of the Republican incumbent? After all, Trump himself has made himself a role model for lying and cheating, from cheating on his golf score to having someone take the SAT for him. His faithful followers must like that, since they keep supporting him, no matter how much he lies, no matter what he cheats on, giving the impression that it is OK to cheat and lie if there is something you want.

Finally, it is the Republican controlled states that practice voter suppression by making it exceedingly hard for many to exercise their constitutional rights to vote. — not the more Democratic states. The truth is, that if everybody eligible were able to vote, Trump and many of his Republican enablers, would lose in a landslide. No wonder Trump is nervous. Although the vast majority voted for Biden, one has to wonder why so many still voted for Trump, after his dismal performance in every possible respect. That's how low they value the U.S. presidency?

Another TUFT (Terence's Unsubstantiated Fraud Theory) comment. The usual blah blah blah, fraud gibberish. Poor little lemming Terence is projecting his insecurities onto others again. Terence's hate can't be good for his health.

How funny! Tommy duplici-Tee is channeling brain-dead Biden. Tommy immaturi-Tee has resorted to aping me because he ran out of nothingburgers to push.

It appears Tommy’s instabili-Tee is manifesting itself. Tommy inferiori-Tee’s efforts to ape me aren’t going too well as Tommy’s inabili-Tee for original writing is resulting in quite a bit of hilari-Tee and juvenili-Tee. So sorry, dear readers, I'll have to give Tommy pet-Tee a time out.

Tommy Tee

My new favorite article about Brain Dead Giuliani. I know, Terence - Business Insider is fake news. It's still funny to see Rudy's outlandish fantasy shredded to ribbons.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/pennsylvania-lawyers-shredded-rudy-giulianis-arguments-in-trumps-biggest-election-lawsuit-as-disgraceful-and-really-inventive/ar-BB1b6Bm0?ocid=mailsignout&li=BBnb7Kz

Tafhdyd

One thing is for sure, when you hire Giuliani as your defense lawyer the prosecution doesn't need show up. With him as your friend, you don't need enemies.

Terence Y

Isn’t it funny the TDS-twins, Tommy and Taffy, are still unhappy even though they think brain-dead Biden was elected? I think they still harbor doubts. Now all they do is flap their gums about nothingburgers that won’t change the price of rice in China. Taffy should spend more time enjoying his position as head of the Public Online Society. And I hear Tommy is now the head Defender of the Office of the President Elect.

Jorg

When you call President-elect Joe Biden "brain-dead",- where do you put yourself on the intelligence scale? Below zero? That's at least how you come across.

Terence Y

Another JUNC (Jorg’s Usual Niggling Criticism) comment. Jorg, I’ve probably forgotten more things than you’ll ever learn.

Tommy Tee

Pretty ironic that although Biden’s transition is stalled, Trump fired so many of his officials and inner circle, that Biden is reaching out to them for intelligence briefings; getting info as current as yesterday. These are people Trump fired because they told the truth.

Jorg

In response to many on this site, I have to agree that it is somewhat unfair to compare Donald Trump with a true statesman like Barack Obama, respected and admired around the world. That said, even compared to George W. Bush, Trump falls flat, both in terms of intelligence, knowledge, and general decent behavior. And compared to President-elect Joe Biden? Not even close!

Terence Y

Jorg, you mean the Obama who said:

1. “Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.”

2. "We're the country that built the Intercontinental Railroad."

3. “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. Period.”

Obviously Jorg, Obama is the worst President in the history of the US, possibly forever, so comparing Obama to anyone is unfair.

Tommy Tee

Those are almost as funny as Trump saying the Continental Army took over the airports! LOL!

Jorg

There's a huge difference between President Obama's occasional misstatements, and what Trump seems to believe, obviously having flunked both history and common sense, - not to mention social behavior.

Terence Y

Jorg, there are too many Obama blunders to list. Don't forget about Operation Fast and Furious, Obama’s gun running scandal. Spying on a duly elected President, Obamagate. The $400 million in cash given to Iran as a ransom payment. Liar-in-chief Obama has done much more than say stupid things. If anything, it sounds like you've flunked American history, or you're channeling brain-dead Biden.

Jorg

TY: That's all you can come up with to support your statement that "Obama is the worst President in the history of the US"? Don't you grasp how stupid and uneducated you sound? No? Doesn't speak well for Trump supporters, does it? They are like ignorant sheep, blindly following Trumpy over the cliff.

Terence Y

Another JUNC (Jorg’s Unhinged Numbskull Conniption) comment. The usual blah blah blah, Trump bad, you're bad gibberish. Poor little lemming Jorg is projecting his insecurities onto others again. Jorg's hate can't be good for his health.

Re: your comment at 3:49 pm... "You don't need to repeat the same nonsense ad nauseum [sic]... "

Tommy Tee

Terry--are you QAnon?

You know what's really brain dead? Choosing Crazy Rudy Giuliani to be your personal lawyer; especially when your lawsuits are 0-16. You know Rudy; the guy who held a press conference at a landscaping business, between a porno shop and a crematorium. Now, THAT'S braindead! lol

Btw, did you hear? Trump's National Security Council is preparing for "a very professional transition," because it looks like Joe Biden has won the election, national security adviser Robert O'Brien said in comments that aired Monday. Fake news, right?

But I have to hand it to you for being the last rat to desert the ship.

Terence Y

So, Tommy futili-Tee, now that I destroyed your no voter fraud argument you’re trying to create a mountain out of another molehill? Chances are your source is fake news or you’re cherry picking parts of a quote to fit your narrative. I’m sure if I research your supposed story, I’ll be able to easily blow holes in your narrative. But since your nothingburger doesn’t do anything to change the price of rice in China, I won’t bother. And now you’re trying to attack Rudy Giuliani? Brain-dead Biden’s accomplishments, if you can think of any, pale in comparison to Giuliani’s accomplishments.

Tommy Tee

Ok, Terence. LOL You crack up, desperado.

Jorg

Typical of a mentally challenged Trumpster!

wlydecker

I didn't vote for Trump, but I think his criticism of the media has merit. Just look at the Trump tweet story in today's DJ. Can't believe the AP tosses around "baseless" and "groundless" so casually. Very subjective terms. Let the story write itself. I don't think there is "fake news" but we certainly have lockstep journalism. Technology is among the usual suspects.

Ray Fowler

Amen, again

Wilfred Fernandez Jr

Hello wlydecker,

Ditto! I'll add my gratitude that President Trump revealed so many other shortcomings in various Federal bureaucracies. IMHO, shameful leadership. To close, I thank him for exposing me to lefties. They have dispelled many of my long held beliefs. Good and bad.

Will

Wilfred Fernandez Jr

Jorg,

You seem to take issue with everything that makes this country great. I pity you. Your "my way or the highway" thinking is fraught with peril. And if you care to think more deeply, you will see it's a bit closed minded.

Tafhdyd

Wilfred,

Glad to see you on the comments today. I have an Alaska question for you that I will get to in a bit.

I just wanted to say that I have discussed some of the same issues in the past with you and Ray and I won't beat that horse today other than to say that I pretty much fall in line with most of Ray's informative comment about the voting over the years farther down the page.

Back to the important stuff. I think you said you have been up north for about forty years. If so I wondered if you remember the saga of Binky the Polar Bear in the zoo that took a bite out of a dumb tourist and became a bit of a folk hero. I know he was a big hit down here among myself and some friends.

Ray Fowler

Hey, Wilfred

I vaguely remember the story from a while back... I did take a peek on line to refresh my memory. Yeah, Binky attacked two zoo visitors. Both times, the knuckleheads either hopped the barrier fence or actually jumped into the pool situated in Binky's enclosure. Most of the local LTEs supported Binky even though he was exercising his white privilege at the time of the attacks. It's a joke, lefties... slow down.

It's funny that Coca Cola features a polar family in their ad campaigns. Polar bears are one of the few predators known to actually stalk and kill humans.

It's also funny how capitalists on Wall Street have skewed our society's perception of animals. For example, we root for a snarky, wisecracking and sometimes naughty hare... Bugs Bunny. Yet, we relish the failings of a noble mallard while vilifying Daffy Duck. What is this world coming to?

I did get into Anchorage a few times to "gas 'n go" a Navy P-3 Orion, but I spent most of my time in Alaska operating out of Adak, AK. Just like Sarah Palin, I saw Russia, too. That was back in the day...

P.S. When our Space Force finally gets off the ground and we make it to the Red Planet... I wonder if Marvin the Martian will be waiting for us?

Wilfred Fernandez Jr

Hello Mr. Fowler,

Likewise to Tafhdyd, you have put the icing on my cake of day. My wife and I are in "Free America", (line from Red Dawn), Orlando, Florida. We dined at a restaurant named the Sci-Fi Dinner in Disney World. The theme is that of a fifties drive-in movie theater, complete with era appropriate vehicles, window speakers and a scaled down large movie screen. Movie trailers of Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman, the Colossus Man and quite a few other period releases round out the show. Great viewing fun between bites of burger and fries. Leave it to Disney.

So that you all know, I visit the SMDJ every day. I choose to quietly learn how people think and about the changes that have befallen my pre-adolescent to twenty five year old stomping grounds. I unknowingly became a creature of my environment. Your way of living leaves me stupefied and equally amazed.

Will

Tafhdyd

Ray,

I forgot to mention earlier about the cartoons. You reminded me about Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner and Yosemite Sam and Porky Pig and Elmer Fudd, and etc. Disney had one group and Warner Bros. had the others. Time to have a cocktail and I will have one for you also. Cheers!

Wilfred Fernandez Jr

Good morning Mr. Fowler,

My previous reply omitted the thoughts I have about "white privilege". Suffice it to say I consider anything other than a level playing as insulting. Especially affirmative action plans. Is there a better way to drive a wedge between people?

About Ms. Palin, I don't care for the woman. But I did defend her in Carson City. A pit boss befriended me during my game play and quipped about the supposed Palin Russia gaff. My polite response was, "I'm so glad you are not one of those people that believes a SNL Tina Fay skit is reality".

Because my son-in-law works on the north slope I can confirm the fear of Polar Bears is justified.

Will

Ray Fowler

Hey, Tafhdyd! Ouch! My previous comment was directed to Wilfred... I just realized it should have been directed to you. My error.

Thanks for your positive comments about my comments about voting over the years.

Tafhdyd

Ray,

No apologies needed, I got that impression and I am glad to refresh your memory of Binky. I have two or thee T-shirts in the closet some place with Binky holding the tennis shoe of one "victim". Another has a comment about catch and release if I remember right.

Always good to hear old "war stories" also. My time up north was on an Ice Breaker mostly above Russia in 67. Our plan was to go from Boston (our base) over to the Norway coast and up above Russia in the Arctic Ocean and around to Alaska. Turned out to be a heavy ice year so we couldn't proceed as planned and the Ruskies would grant us permission to go between two islands they claimed where the twelve mile limit overlapped by a mile. Anyway all my Alaska travels over the past 30 yrs have been leisure.

Wilfred Fernandez Jr

Tafhdyd

Not that it matters much but the T got left off the Trace. Buffalo Trace.

Jorg

Wilfred: How in the world can you get it so wrong? Quite the opposite, - I take issue with those who drag this country down with them into the swamp, like Trump, the most inept and unqualified occupant of the WH in modern times, a laughingstock around the world, not taken seriously by anyone expect dictators who see the advantage of having someone so easily fooled and manipulated. How can anyone possibly find someone like that good enough for the most important office in the world, - someone who reacts to electoral defeat like a child who has lost the pacifier on the floor. Get real, - will you!

Ray Fowler

Hey, Jorg

"You don't need to repeat the same nonsense ad nauseum [sic]... "

There, I fixed it for ya.

Terence Y

C'mon Jorg the JUNC (Jorg’s Umpteenth Noxious Comment) man, "You don't need to repeat the same nonsense ad nauseum [sic]...” BTW, Colonel Sanders is again looking for you.

Wilfred Fernandez Jr

Jorg,

Your logical fallacies are to many and futile for me to engage. Accept my apologies and continue down your rude, immature road. As I am fond of saying, I will not suffer fools and I choose to not be disagreeable with fellow patriots. This reasoning is reinforced by my mothers sage advice. "Son, you can always tell how smart a man is, by how well he knows, he knows very little".

Will

Terence Y

Mr. Aadahl, you’ve been spewing this Trump bad, Trump followers bad TDS nonsense for well over four years. If anyone is nervous, it sounds like you are, since the election isn’t over. BTW, if you think brain-dead Biden was elected, shouldn’t you be explaining why Americans should pay a 65% flat tax and 30% VAT to support brain-dead Biden’s socialist plan?

Jorg

So, again, where did you get this 65% flat tax nonsense from? Same place as all your other BS? And, while we're at it, what do you mean by " Biden's socialist plan"? Do you have any idea what you are talking about? I don't think so. Trumpists usually don't.

Terence Y

So again, Jorg, if you don’t like my flat tax number, provide another. You always fold like a cheap suit when I call you out. Instead, all you can do is throw a hissy fit and make another lame attempt at insulting me.

Tommy Tee

Excellent letter, Jorg. A group of national, state and private election officials said in a joint statement Thursday that "there is no evidence of any voting system being compromised in the 2020 election despite President Donald Trump's deluge of election fraud conspiracies." For some people, that's not enough. If the election really was rigged, why were so many down-ballot Republican candidates victorious; particularly Moscow Mitch and Lady G? It seems some of Trump's enablers think if he won a state, no fraud; if he lost a state-there was fraud. The "He won, get over it" crowd of 2016 is in a bad mood.

Terence Y

Tommy – in a search engine, enter “voter fraud 2020 election” and hit Enter. Then, and this is most important, do not click on links from the lamestream media. You’ll then be able to read about many instances of voter fraud. Why many down-ballot Republican candidates beat the Democrats? Those thousands, or perhaps hundreds of thousands of ballots which only submitted one vote - for brain-dead Biden. The we pray brain-dead Biden won crowd seems to be in a bad mood, trying to bully non-believers. The lamestream media doesn't select Presidents, legal votes do.

Tommy Tee

Terence--I DID and got this: A group of national, state and private

election officials said in a joint statement Thursday that "there is no

evidence of any voting system being compromised in the 2020 election

despite President Donald Trump's deluge of election fraud conspiracies."

There were many, many similar entries. There is zero proof, unless you

are QAnon or a deep state conspiracy theorist. Trump is 0-16.

The walls are closing in. I'm happy that President-elect Biden is already

addressing the pandemic, while Trump ignores it. Heck, he hasn't been to

a pandemic task force meeting since March. Biden has chosen respected

doctors and scientists for his task force, while Trump has unqualified

Pence and Radiologist Scott Atlas (zero experience with infectious

diseases). Lack of leadership in a crisis is destroying our country. It seems like Trump has given up and is staying in his room watching FOX and eating Big Macs.

Terence Y

Tommy, you’re not very good at reading comprehension. Seems you forgot the most important part – skip links from the lamestream media. So no, you DIDN’T. I checked and I see you’re quoting from fake news CNN – the epitome of fake news. I guess I’m not really surprised you would ignore anything that goes against your narrative. BTW, do a search for Biden saying, “We have put together I think the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.” Now, if there’s no voter fraud, why did brain-dead Biden put together a voter fraud organization? Checkmate.

Rel

Terence, take your own advice and search for "presidential election results 2020". The preponderance of answers say "Biden 306, Trump 232 EV votes" along with the 5.5M popular vote plurality of Biden. Nowhere is there a caveat or disclaimer about legal or illegal votes. Biden will be sworn into office in late January 2021 because the voters have spoken.

Tommy Tee

AMEN.

Terence Y

Rel, I DID do a search and after skipping all the fake news lamestream media hits, I couldn’t find your fake news answers. And I already destroyed Tommy Tee's argument about voter fraud - and therefore, yours. BTW, the election is not over. The lamestream media doesn’t select the president, legal votes do.

Ray Fowler

Hi, Tommy

Thanks for taking the time to share our thoughts.

I'm not a Joe Biden fan but I have accepted his Electoral College victory, and I doubt if anything... a recount or court rulings in favor of Republicans... will change the outcome.

If anyone running for president had a reason to question election results that list would prominently feature Al Gore and Richard Nixon. Bill Clinton's vice president lost in a very close election. He did not issue a traditional concession speech but he did initiate legal challenges. Those appeals focused on Florida and lasted weeks. Ike's vice president lost by the slimmest of margins... the closest race of the last century. His margin of defeat in Illinois was 9,000 votes, however, results from Cook County were delayed. They favored Nixon's opponent by 450,000 votes. Wow. What a lot of folks fail to realize is that even if Nixon wins Illinois, he does not win the presidency. Republicans challenged results in ten other states, but it did not change the outcome of the 1960 election.

It looks like the same thing is happening today. The present strategy of challenging swing state results is allowed... let it play out. Will there be some irregularities discovered? Sure. It's hard to imagine there will not be any... but enough to change the outcome? No.

However, I would like to see a definitive ruling on the role of state legislatures, delineated in the Constitution, with respect to national elections. Can state election boards, state judges and state governors create voting policies and procedures without the endorsement of state legislatures? Such a ruling would very likely not change the outcome of the 2020 election, but it would clarify protocols for national elections.

True enough... the "He won, get over it" crowd has not been silent, but neither have they been rioting, burning or looting. Some of them have gathered in public... as is their right... but the criminality we witnessed in 2020 from "peaceful protestors" representing the left side of the political aisle was absent.

Here's one last question... did the left "get over it"? No.

Jorg

No wonder Republicans are upset about Biden’s overwhelming win! With all their voter suppression and voter fraud, they thought they had it all nailed down for Trump. What on Earth went wrong for them? Despite their efforts, too many voted for Biden instead of Trump. How unfair!

Ray Fowler

Jorg

"You don't need to repeat the same nonsense ad nauseum... "

Jorg

It is spelled "nauseam", Ray, - but what's the "nonsense" about it?

Ray Fowler

Jorg... two things

1) I know how it is spelled. The quoted material was lifted verbatim from a comment made by you last week.

2) Nonsense? You claim that Republicans have made it "exceedingly difficult" for many to vote. Where and how did that happen? You continue to demean more than 73 million Americans who disagree with your political philosophy. That is nonsense.

Jorg

" 73 million Americans who disagree with your political philosophy" and who have so low regard for the US presidency that they feel someone like Trump, the lying conman, is good enough fort the country? Yeah, that makes sense! My goodness, how bewildered can they be? Trump, who brags publicly about being able to remember 5 simple words and considers himself a very stable genius! What an embarrassment for the country!

Wilfred Fernandez Jr

Mr. Fowler,

Your wit and prose is precious. What endears Jorg to me is that he is so certain of his own superior thinking, he doesn't think to read all the trash known, for fact, about his new President elect. A golden yarn spinner himself and plagiarist to boot. LOL
