Please add me to the ranks of Foster City residents who are upset about how you positioned the City Council security issue (“Foster City steps up security after weapons seizure,” Daily Journal June 29-30). Drawing a correlation between last week’s weapons seizure and the current animosity between some residents and our vice mayor is irresponsible and misleading.

Stepping up security in an age of frequent mass-shooting events is totally fine and understandable. But trying to make it about the Herb Perez recall initiative is slander — which is ironic given Mayor Sam Hindi’s quote about “slander [and] character assassinations.” It does not matter where one stands on the current issues with our City Council, there is no reason to use last week’s news as a false accusation toward an unrelated group of residents, or to cause damage to Foster City’s reputation.

I really don't know what you are saying here There certainly is a group in this town continuously alluding to a conspiracy on everything and complaints about everything disgruntled residents thinking they are the only right fighters in this town. Own it. Itis embarassing So now you read conspiracy where a paper places an article.in it's front page. You love to use the word slander using the word and inciting unrest. with citizens groups. .
